GillyGro Shipment Update: Container Released by US Customs Office

Hello backers,
Thank you for your patience.
In my last progress update, I mentioned that the container from China shipping to the United States that has our GillyGro Backpack orders in it was random selected by the US Customs Office for open container checkup.
Finally, the container was released yesterday and will be arranged for delivery to our Chicago warehouse very soon. After all the orders arrive at our Chicago warehouse, your orders will be scheduled for shipment in a couple days.
Please be noted that over 20 backers from Asia, some UK and EU backers have already received their orders in the past couple weeks. This delayed shipment incident will only affect orders that will be shipped out from our US Warehouse which includes all the US, some Canada, UK, EU, and Middle East countries' orders.
I know many of you were expecting to receive the backpack earlier and plan to use it during your summer vacation. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience that this unexpected incident might caused to your summer plan.
If you would like to change the shipping address to accommodate to your summer vacation plan or receiving schedule, please contact me for the new shipping address by the end of this week. (Aug. 6th, Saturday, 6pm)

GillyGro Multipurpose Backpack -- Shipments Update

Hello backers,
Happy Summer!! I hope you are enjoying the summer and staying safe and healthy :-)
Updates about your orders.
Depending on your pledge level, location and best shipping rate we could find, the orders were set to be shipped out from 2 warehouses, Hong Kong Warehouse & Chicago Warehouse.
Shipment Status:
1. Hong Kong Warehouse: Total 19 backers' orders left the HK warehouse at early July. If you're located in Asia, some might already received your GillyGro Backpack. If you're located in the EU or any countries outside the US with Early Adopters & Super Early Bird pledge levels, your orders are now in transit to your hand.
2. Chicago Warehouse: If you can't find your name on the HK Warehouse list, you are for sure in our Chicago warehouse list.
Your orders have left our China factory at early July, and the boat had arrived at the US Port on Jul 15th.
Originally, all orders were planned to arrive at the Chicago warehouse this week, and will be ready to be shipped out by designated couriers to your shipping address.
Unfortunately, the container that contained our orders got random picked by the US Customs for random check. We are now waiting for the container to be released next week, if every thing goes smoothly, all US orders are expected to be delivered in the first week of August.
Sorry for the inconvenience that has happened which is outside of my control, I promise to follow up closely and will update you when I receive new progress. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Update about your GillyGro order

Dear backers,
I hope you had enjoyed a relaxed weekend!!
I'm thrilled to update you that all the orders have finally left our manufacturer site, and are now on their way, either by truck or boat, heading to our HK and Chicago warehouses, depending on the final shipping destinations.
We are working very hard to fulfill our promised timeline so that you can receive your GillyGro Backpack by the end of July (Early Adopters & Super Early Birds) or the end of August (Early Birds, Dual Packs, and Family Value Pack) depending on the pledge level you've chosen during our Kickstarter Campaign.

Progress Update: Quality Assurance

First of all, thank you for your patience!!
Great news!!
Yesterday, we have completed the packaging phase of all the orders.
Today, a third partly Quality Assurance team is going through a very thorough Quality check for all the GillyGro Backpacks and add-ons accessories of your orders. We are very exciting as we move closer to the shipping day:-)
