Kickstarter: Why do I need to give all my information?
First of all, your information is private by default. The information Kickstarter will need is just for payment and shipping purposes. They are mainly for connecting to the pledge you made, and for us to know where to deliver your order at the end of the campaign.

Please request a password reset, click the ‘Forgot?’ link on the login page. Then enter the email address associated with your account and Kickstarter will send over an email with a link to reset your password.

Kickstarter: Is my account private?
Yes. Profiles on Kickstarter are private by default. To check the status of yours, go to the Edit profile tab under Settings and scroll to the bottom of the page. There you will see the heading “Privacy” with a checkbox underneath, make sure this box is checked to set your profile to private.

Kickstarter: Why can I no longer pledge on a certain bundle?
Two possible scenarios 1. Have you made any pledge before today? Each backer only have one chance to pledge one bundle during the entire campaign period. 2. The Rewards/Pledges are first come first serve. The earlier you place your order, the higher chance you will be able to claim the higher discounts limited rewards. There are only a number of spots available, so Take Action ASAP!

Kickstarter: Why does it take so long for the product to be shipped?
Two main reasons why the products need a longer time to be shipped. 1) Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform for uniquely created products that are not available in the market yet. Which means the way Kickstarter works is different than a normal e-commerce website, such as Amazon or Walmart. At Amazon or Walmart, the products they sell are mature products already available in the market, meaning there will already have inventories stored in their warehouse while customers place their orders. But for Kickstarter Campaign, we need to wait until the campaign successfully reaches the funding goal then we will be able to collect the funds from Kickstarter. Once we collect the funds at about 2 weeks after campaign ends, we will then start to mass produce the products based on the pledges received during the campaign.
2) Once the campaign has successfully raised its funding goal. Kickstarter will distribute a post-campaign survey to all backers to final confirm the shipping address and if backers want to add extra add-ons accessories. The faster our backers response back to the post campaign survey, the earlier we can start to mass produce the products and add-ons accessories. We appreciate your patience and thank you for your support. Please know that we are trying our best to get your order out to you as soon as possible in the midst of the recurring supply chain challenge caused by the global pandemic.

Kickstarter: Why are there so many different options?
Each backer can only have one chance in pledging during the entire campaign period. Therefore, if you want to buy 2 backpacks, you cannot change the quantity of the single backpack reward. Instead, you would have to choose the reward that is offering 2 backpacks. We want to make sure there is something for everyone! So, feel free to choose whichever rewards that can satisfy your needs.

Kickstarter: Why can't I choose a color now?
Not all Kickstarter campaigns will be successful at the end, meaning 100% funded before the campaign period ends. Kickstarter will only send out post-campaign surveys to campaigns that are 100% funded, then you will be asked to choose your preferred colors before we mass produce your backpack.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
